How Knightsbridge House Transformed Staff Retention
One of the achievements Knightsbridge House (KBH) International School is most proud of is the significant improvement in staff retention . Over time, the school recognised that retaining great teachers required more than simply asking them to work harder. It required a deliberate and sustained effort to build a more balanced and supportive working environment. Early on, KBH took a close look at workload, working hours and the overall demands placed on staff. This led to a conscious decision to reduce unnecessary administrative tasks and streamline internal processes. By doing so, teachers were able to spend less time on excessive paperwork and more time focusing on what matters most—teaching, supporting students and contributing meaningfully to school life.
